About the retreat
This artsy event is an expression of art, mixed media, playfulness, and creativity. Professional artist Ann Corbiere-Scott will teach multiple techniques and strategies on how to use Lindy’s Gang Michigan Magicals, Wow Michigan Forever Emboss Powders, and TCW Stencil Butters. You will create many backgrounds for your affirmation stand project along with many other artsy pieces to practice techniques.

1 three-hour class

The retreat house has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There are two 3-bed rooms, one 2-bed room, and one 4-bed room. If you have a friend you’d like to room with, please put that in the notes when you register.
Towels and linens are provided.
The kitchen offers use of a Keurig coffee maker. Please bring your own coffee pods to use. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks and refreshments. Filtered water from the refrigerator will be available.

paper & i will have some items available for sale during Friday and Saturday. A final class supply list will be sent to participants in June. Many items you may already have in your craft stash. Items required will also be available from paper & i’s website to purchase.

Forever Michigan Magical powders are here and coordinate beautifully with all things Michigan.
We have a collection of Lindy's Gang five delightful magical shaker powders that give the feel of our Michigan Lakes and sunrise/sunsets.
They can also be used for all lake life, ocean life, vacations and other projects too.
The colors are called: Coral, Yellow Tang, Blue Hawaiian, Butter the Bread Blue and Sea Turtle Teal
Our pictures tell the color story. Use these powder dye based pigments on watercolor paper with water and create delightful backgrounds.
You can also paint with the sparkly powders and use these on many surfaces as they stain the surface.
You will be delighted with their many uses and all the beautiful color and sparkle.

The retreat cost covers two nights (Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday Sept. 5) at Riverside Retreats in Marshall, Michigan. We will be in the Prairie House.
